Kill Them All…

As much as I love to read books, I also love a good television series.  And after re-watching both Spartacus: Blood and Sand and the first season of Game of Thrones, I realized they both had scenes that I loved and really resonated with me that included the phrase: Kill Them All.  In both series the kill them all scenes really grabbed me, and I found myself rewinding to watch them over.  In both series, they were a foreshadowing of monumental events to come.

PS: The actual Kill Them All episode was FANTASTIC.  I still get the same satisfaction from it every time I watch it!

Game of Thrones Clip | From the Episode: Fire and Blood

Frankly this scene breaks my heart.  And Catelyn’s final words and agreement gives me the chills.

  1. I have heard so many great things about The Game of Thrones and the books too. But for some reason I am not into it (yet) I’m planning on canceling the cable for good soon too. Back to books full time and movies only. Love the video of Blood and Sand. 🙂

You should try looking them up on HBOGO if you have it. At least try to watch until you cancel. Or you could always take the plunge and read the books! Though I love the series, they are better!

  3. That scene between Robb and Catelyn is SO gut-wrenching! I’ve been rewatching the first season, and seeing all the characters who are now gone makes those early episodes especially poignant.

I agree and that scene there kills. And when I think of the The Red Wedding I want to throttle George all over again! Robb was undoubtedly one of my faves so I cherish every episode I got with him, cause George took him away too soon!
