Why I Love Wednesdays is a weekly meme created and hosted by Alexis of Reflections of a Bookaholic. Each week she posts a Why I Love Topic that she answers. If you would like to participate head on over to her site for the topic and the image. This week’s topic:

Why I Love Amazon.com:

I think the gates of Heaven opened up the day I found Amazon. I can find almost anything on Amazon.com and always find the greatest deals. I really love amazon because it allows me to find and buy old movies and books I loved as a kid for cheap that you can no longer pick up in a retail store. I can also buy my cell phone accessories for a lot cheaper than you would get at the store or kiosk.

Also, I use Swagbucks, and whenever I accumulate enough points I cash out for a 5 dollar Amazon e-gift card. Amazon allows you to enter your gift card code and keep an electronic running tab of your gift cards. So you don’t have to hold onto to the codes or emails. Just copy and paste it into Amazon, and you’re done. Amazon keeps up with the rest.

I also sell on Amazon. Any books, video games, or DVD’s I no longer want or have a use for, I put up on Amazon.com. It’s a good way to make some pocket change. Some people have very lucrative home businesses because of Amazon. Whether you’re a buyer or a sellar, the possibilities are endless on Amazon.com!

I love Amazon too. I was just mentioning it earlier how Amazon is like online e-crack for me and at some point I may need an intervention. I love it because you can find anything on Amazon. Free books and inexpensive books too. Not to mention you can make money off Amazon or sell your own work.

I had never heard of swagbucks, so thanks for mentioning it. Now I have another addiction to conquer. 🙂

@ Lena, yes Amazon is beyond addicting and from reading people’s comments I get the feeling I haven’t even broke the surface of what you can do with it. And you’ll love swagbucks. I don’t know how many free amazon and starbucks gift cards I’ve gotten from them. All for doing nothing but using their search bar.

  3. I don’t sell on amazon but my husband sells my stuff on under his account. I’m so lazy. I don’t want to deal with it. I have him worry about all the details and then tell him to give me MY money. Lol. So glad you participated. I’m working on your recommendation about putting the topic on the sidebar. I’m horribly behind in the blogging world right now. Hopefully I’ll have that ready for next week. Thanks again!

@ Alexis, no worries dear. I know how the world around us can get hectic and sometimes the blog has to come in second or third. And selling on Amazon is a lot easier than I thought but it’s cool you have a hubby that will handle all of that for you.
