Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. First you leave your name here and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them hi in their comments. You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win.
This week’s feature is Erika @ Let’s Talk ABout Books. So be sure to visit her and follow!
Q. ACK! Your favorite book/movie character (example Hermione Granger played by the Emma chick) just walked into the room! Who is it and what would be your first reaction? You get extra points if you include visual stimulation.
I have two famous folks I’m absolutely NUTS about and could really wax poetic all day about the both of them. One of them I love more for who they are as a person, and the other I’m absolutely in love with the character they play. So without further ado…my picks!
Character I Adore: Jacob Black played by Taylor Lautner. Jacob Jacob Jacob…how do I love thee, let me count the ways. Seriously, if I was like 16 again, I would totally be trying to make Jacob Black my boyfriend cause he would so be the perfect guy for me. I love everything about him, and one of these day I’ll write up a character profile and detail why I love me some Jacob Black. I’ve actually been wanting to do that for a while so I’ll save all my gushing for that. But in the mean time, check the pics below and be sure to join me here every other Thursday for Black Thursday, where I post a fan vid dedicated to my favorite shape shifter. Now as far as meeting him live and in living color… I’d like to think I wouldn’t be a total fan girl, and that I would act my age. But urrrmmmm….I can make no promises.
And I also love me some Marlon Wayans! My favorite character he has played was Kenny Tyler from my favorite movie, The 6th Man. I used to dream of moving to Cali, meeting Marlon on the Sunset Strip and marrying him and living HEA (<—-Just figured out what that means!). HA…dreams of an adolescent. Marlon was my first major celebrity crush…and I still love him to pieces. He’s so cute, and can always make me laugh. I love men who can make me laugh. And Marlon is not just a clown. He can REALLY act and I think he is VERY underrated. I think he’s the most talented (at least acting wise) of all the Wayans. Have you seen him in Requiem Fo A Dream? AMAZING I tell ya! Not to mention you never hear anything bad about him or his family in the tabloids. I like that about him. I think I would hyperventilate if I met him. But I hope I’d be able to get it together enough to tell him what a fan I am.

“What keeps you reading beyond the first few pages of a book, and what makes you want to stop reading a book and put it back on the shelf?“
Hmmm…well if it’s an author I’m familiar with I’ll usually keep reading without having to have anything majorly special happen in the first few chapters. But new authors I look for some humor, quirky characters, or a plot or secret that is too interesting to not find out more about. I’ll stop reading if I’m bored, confused, or just really hate the story and characters.
