Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. First you leave your name here and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them hi in their comments. You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win.

This week’s features are Jenni from Alluring Reads and Justin from Justin’s Book Blog.  Now on to this week’s question:

Q: Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?

The only time I’m reading two books at once is if I’ve started a book on my Nook.  I like to walk my dog and read at the same time, but after breaking my Nook doing this I decided it was a bad idea (don’t worry they gave me a brand new one!).  So now I take a trusty paperback with me to walk my dog.  But most of the time I only have one book going at a time.

New follower, I also mastered the art of walking while reading, walking to and from home from school would take about 45min so I was never bored, my FF

  6. Haha in my head your dog is pawing at you trying to get you to throw him a ball and you’re not even noticing because you’re reading! Poor doggy 😛

    I am a book juggler: http://pocketfulofbooksblogger.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/follow-friday_30.html

  7. Awesome answer! New follower via Linky and NB!

    Thanks for visiting!

  8. Yeah, I don’t have an e-reader yet, but if I did, I could see balancing 2 books:) Following you back:)

  9. Oh gosh I’m jealous! I can’t walk and read at the same time. I just can’t concentrate on the words properly when I try and sometimes I get motion sickness (from walking!!). I love audiobooks for when I’m out walking though!

New follower on Linky and Networked Blogs. My FF.

  10. I read one book at a time. If the book isn’t grabbing me, I tend to start a second one hoping that I’ll eventually go back to the first one.

  11. I’m sometimes tempted to read while I walk but I find that I get too involved in the book world and trip over something or nearly get hit by cars when I do. haha

I usually read one book at a time, but since I got my kindle last year it’s easy to get into 2 or 3 books at a time.

Hey there! Love, love, love the blog. I’m a new follower ala FF. Regarding reading more than one book, I just can’t. I love immersing myself into the book I’m reading, and If I do that with more than one book, then I’ll just have more issues than I already have 😀

    Please check out my FF

  13. Oh no you poor thing! I’ve never been good at walking and reading. Wish I was.

  14. Hi Jade:)

Now that is what I call talent, you can read a book while walking your dog???? I can barely chew gum and walk at the same time lol…No seriously that is a great talent, I would end on the ground face first probably!! Lol;)

Thank you for visiting my FF post and following! I went to bed sick or else I would have commented already! Cute blog, love the pink writing color!

    I’m a New Linky follower!

I look at my current reads on goodreads.com and sometimes I wish I only read one book at a time. On there I have SIX books I’m currently reading. One’s the Bible. Another is an audio book I haven’t listened to in a long time. Another is a book I read when I don’t have anything else to read (like waiting to go to the library and such). So, technically, I only have three books I’m in the middle of–a physical book, an e-book, and an ARC for review e-book. To answer your question, yes, I read more than one book at a time.

  16. I usually only have one book going on at a time as well. But when I’m with the hubby, I might start a book on the ipad because the lights are out and I can’t read the paperback.

  17. I read only one at a time and listen to one at a time. I am thinking about getting a Nook or maybe an ipad. Now that I have read this I would never leave home with it. LOL!

  18. When I read more than one book at a time, it’s usually the format for me too! Although sometimes I might have to read something for a deadline and then it happens I pick that one up parallel to the one I was already reading:)
