I was in a state of confusiosity.

Georgia Nicolson has finally landed Robbie the Sex God and life is fab.  But all of a sudden Georgia’s ex, Dave the Laugh, is starting to look quite dreamy.  Strangely, so does just about every other guy Georgia meets, even the new French teacher.  Is Georgia becoming a shameless vixen?

My Thoughts:

Always hilariously funny and intelligently witty, Louise Rennison does not disappoint with the third installment of her Georgia Nicolson series.

In this book Georgia is back and just happy to be the girlfriend of a ‘Sex God’.  But Georgia begins to question her steadfast love for Robbie when she finds herself jealous of her friend and Dave the Laugh, her ex she used to make the ‘Sex God’ jealous in the previous book.

I love how Georgia has what she always believed she wanted, though the relationship with Robbie is being kept under wraps, and learns that maybe what she  she wanted isn’t at all what she wants or needs.  As the ‘Sex God’s’ behavior becomes increasingly suspect, Georgia begins to blur the line between friends and more with Dave the Laugh.

Her best friend Jas is still an airhead and infuriating, and I found myself dismissing her while drawn to her other friend Rosie.  Rosie is just overall more intelligent, funny, and interesting.  The Ace Gang is still entertaining and the boys sweet and dreamy.

Overall I loved the awakening of Georgia and her teenage trials and tribulations.  She’s beginning to question and examine herself and I’m always down for growth in such a lovable character.  And as always the author writes this book with such ‘hilariosity’, that I couldn’t put it down.

  1. Probably not a fit for me but I love seeing all these covers together. they are so colorful, fun, and eye-catching.

  2. You always know about the funnest-sounding books, Jade! I’ve never heard of this series before, but from the covers and the way you describe it, I just know it’s going to be one of those LOVE collections for me! Hilariously funny and intelligently witty always add up to be a blast to read about, and I’m glad that you loved this third book as much as you loved the others! 😉

Amazing review as always, Jade! <3

  3. I’ve heard so much about this series, all good things. It does sound like tons of fun. I wonder if my library carries the books.

Georgia sounds like my kind of girl. I was kind of boy crazy in high school. It was just too hard to decide who you wanted to be with. LOL

  4. I keep almost picking up the first book (what am I waiting for?). I didn’t realize how many books make up the series until now but these sounds like so much fine that I might have to give it a try.
