Underrated Books:

A Girl Like You by Gemma Burgessagirllikeyou-gb

I could be totally wrong, but I haven’t much seen this book around, and I only read it because I won it.  But I’m glad that I did because I LOVED it and thought it was the bees knees.  The love story is great and develops just perfectly.  I love that the two characters who fall in love are the last to know, and the shenanigans they get into along the way were great.  Just a lovely book from a lovely writer from across the pond.  If you’re a romance or chick-lit lover, then this one is a must read.

I just finished a chick-lit from the UK not to long ago and I loved it. This sound like the same story line that I was into. Must read! LOL!!

  2. I really like UK Chick-lit. My favorite British author would be Jill Mansell, her chick lit is so much fun. Great post!

  3. I’ve never heard of this one before. Great choice.

I enjoy not recognizing a book as much as when someone choose a book that i do enjoy. When the review agrees with me i add it to my TBR list. This one goes on the list.

  6. I love your expression “the bees knees.” So awesome ;-). And the book sounds fun!

  7. Hey Jade! So I bought this book on my reader as soon as I saw your post 🙂 Can’t wait to start.
