Topic: Book Challenge
The 100 Books in a year challenge that I’ve got going for myself through goodreads and participating in at Book Chick City are my favorite challenges. Simply because they are the hardest. I was doing great in the beginning of the year. But when I started getting sick more often, my book reading waned badly. Now I’m behind and trying to catch up so we’ll see if I can get it done. I won’t be too disappointed if I don’t though because there were extenuating circumstances that I really had no control over. I also take comfort in knowing I actually have read three more books than what my goodreads widget says. For some reason it is not recording my re-reads of the Harry Potter books. So I just have to remember to add three more books onto that total.

yeah, it doesn’t look like I’m gonna reach my 100 books read goal either. I don’t like to count the books and articles I have to read for school, even thought they eat up a lot of my reading time.

How is school going Missie? And I get that you don’t want to count school books. But if it’s a whole book you might want to consider it.
I’m so bad with challenges. I think I’m challenge deficient.

LOL. I think I’m becoming deficient. I’m doing terrible this year regarding my challenges.
This looks like a fun meme. I definitely set my reading goal higher than I should have, although I think I will come close. Reading goals are fun, but I think that you are wise not to get too worked up about it. I had the same problem with some re-reads not registering.

Have you tried changing the date on the book. When you are on Goodreads, edit your review (even if you don’t have one) and change the date to this year. I sometimes have to go to the widget on the home page and click view books as well. I’m not sure if that is helpful or if you’ve tried that.

I thought about that. But I didn’t want to lose the original date either. There should be a way to register re-reads better on goodreads.
