Topic: Favorite Holiday Read
The last few years Beverly Jenkins has been releasing compilation Christmas Themed books.  She is undoubtedly one of my favorite authors so I love picking these up and reading them for the holidays.  I already have this year’s release.

But I do remember when I was in about the second or third grade, Home Alone came out.  And like a true book nerd I bought and read the book, which I LOVED!  I remember reading it in class, and bursting out laughing at the shenanigans towards the end.  My teacher’s were none too happy with me, cause I was supposed to be doing something else.  But I was too tickled.  So it still remains one of my fave holiday reads.

  1. Ha! Nice 🙂 You should have a Christmas of sexy reads.

  2. I have not read anything by Beverly Jenkins, but I will have to give her a try. I am a huge sucker for holiday reads. Thanks for the suggestion.

  3. I never read Home Alone but I had it. I’m not sure why I never read it though. Home Alone is still my brothers favorite movie.

I still watch it when it comes on tv, although I can’t say it’s my fave of all time. One of my top Christmas movie though. The book was just as hilarious as the movie. I wonder how I would feel about it now as an adult.

Home Alone was a book too! Wow! I never knew. I love this cover. I have to say it doesn’t get me in the holiday mood at all. But… you know… Anyways!
    Great post! 😀

Yes! I either got it at the book fair or ordered through the scholastic forms we used to get. And, um yeah…I’m digging into that book right now. So far I’m thoroughly entertained.
