Christopher Pike!
In my little quaint country town, if you were a fan of R.L. Stine’s Fear Street series, then you were also a Christopher Pike fan. As the two authors were of the same ilk, Pike also brought us nail-biting, heart-gripping, bone-chilling thrillers. Honestly, I don’t know what it was about frightening books with murders, and stalkings that attracted me and my friends, and every other avid teen reader, but Pike was magnificent at these stories. I couldn’t get enough. I remember buying as many was on the shelf at my bookstores, stalking the library for new additions, and swapping these books with my friends. I also remember staying up late with my flash light or reading by the full moon reading Christopher Pike. Then I’d be scared out of my mind of every shadow lurking in my room.

Dang, I feel old, but yes, I LOVED R.L. Stine and Christopher Pike back in the day. I should re-read a few of those books so I can remember why.
Fun feature.
I have never heard of this series. I feel like I missed out now. I guess that means a browsing tour of Amazon soon. My daughter would love this series. Thanks for sharing, I learned something new.
@ Missie, it’s fun to reminisce and remember the books and entertainment that I loved as a kid. I was obesessed with Christopher Pike.
@ Lena, If your daughter ever get into thrillers, she’ll love these books.
I think Christopher Pike was more scary than R.L Stine. I didn’t read many of either because I was a scaredy cat. I remember both being around though.
yes, i remember them well, its how i got my dear little day care children to sleep during naptime. lol
@ Alexis Christopher Pike was a bit more sinister than R.L. but I still loved him.
@ RRR You read these to your day care kids? How old were they?
