Rec Reads (1)
Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 12:00 am |

Rec Reads is a new feature I’ll be posting every once in a while. It is just a post to show the books I purchased or acquired as a result of a great review by one or more of my fellow book bloggers. It’s just a quick and fun way to let my fellow bloggers know that I do read their reviews and appreciate the time they spent reading the book and writing the review for us. So this is just a nod to say thanks for the reviews and keep up the hard work. Your work and suggestions are not being given in vain.

Rec Reads:

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Stephenie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich suggested by Alexis of Reflections of A Bookaholic

Cameo The Assasin Series by Dawn McCullough-White suggested by Rebecca of Rebgeo

Unlocked by Courtney Milan suggested by Marq of Love To Read For Fun

Happy Reading Everyone!

  1. This is a great post. You are really so kind. I’ve been trying to keep up with my recommendations so I can acknowledge people but I haven’t found a format for that yet. This is a great idea. Oh and The Hunger Games and Stephanie Plum are the BEST choices you could have gotten from my blog 🙂

@ Alexis, thanks! I thought it would be fun way to say thanks for the reviews. And I’m really excited about those two books. You’ve hyped them up well.

Jade! I love this idea. I’m constantly buying books based on reviews. I l’d love to show how book bloggers DO sell books! I think I’ll join in next time. Is that okay?

  4. Jade says:

@ Missie, thanks and of course. And I have no set time or day I’ll do this, just when I get some books based on reviews. So feel free to post whenever you like. You can grab the image or make your own. I’m glad you guys like the idea.

I loved The Hunger Games, Catching Fire was eh….iffy…hoping Mockingjay will be pretty good.

Thank you as well for all the reviews you do. They help us all decide when we’re on the fence.
